Built for the agentic age
Built for screens. Now built for agents.
Yesterday's trading software was made for people clicking through screens. Today's pioneers build with AI agents, so your agent builds the tool you need in minutes instead of you waiting in a vendor's queue, on infrastructure it can work with and you control.
If you trade
You don't need to build the whole system, just the piece your workflow is missing: a panel, a check, a report. Describe it, your AI agent builds it on your own Open Meridian, and you use it minutes later.
If you code
Skip the glue code. Write your bots, analytics and plugins in Python on one data model of accounts, positions and instruments, and each save is live in about a second.
- Safe by construction. A tool can touch only what it was granted.
- Yours to keep. What you build, alone or with AI, is your code and your IP.

Install
macOS or Linux
curl -fsSL https://open-meridian.com/install | shWindows
Install WSL 2 with Ubuntu (
wsl --installin PowerShell), then run the same command inside Ubuntu.wsl --installWindows through WSL 2 isn't tested yet: tell us how it goes.

Point your AI agent to the repo and describe your big idea
Your agent brings your deployment up and builds the plugin from the template, live.
- 3
Test, iterate, release
Check it with
meridian plugin check, change it until it's right, then release it to your deployment.

Proof
Don't take our word for it. Read it.
Everything below is true today, and you can check it yourself.
The runtime, the command line and the plugin kit are public. Read every line.
From nothing to a running deployment on a laptop, following the setup guide.
Every new plugin comes with the instructions a coding agent follows to build it and change it live on your deployment.
Your orders, positions and keys stay in your own environment, and you decide who, and which tools, can touch them. See the stack.
Shape what comes next
Missing something? Ask in the open, not a vendor's queue.
Request it on GitHub, where every request gets an answer, or book a call; whatever we build goes into the open platform, so share only what you're happy to see public.
